Sitting down in the two track road
To change the image slightly I sat down on the two track road to make use of the grass as part of the image.
Back view
A friend told me many years ago. Don't only shoot the sun, shoot the opposite side of the setting sun and this is what I came up with, just as spectacular.
Botswana'a Makgadikgadi
We got out our vehicle to take a few shots of the sunset, hoping that we would not get eaten or trampled on.
Makgadikgadi sunset
As we drove down the two track road, hoping to get to our camp site with some day light to spare. I said to Charles, to many clouds and that we would not get a good sunset. Boy, was I wrong. With sunset the whole sky transformed into a glorious painting, changing with every second, minute passing. I don't know how many images I took, each one different. Needless to say that we got to our campsite very much later than planned and set up camp in the dark
Village in Botswana
Exiting the southern border of the Makgadikgadi National park, we drove through this village. This is so part of Africa and I love it.
